HERFA THOMPSON

ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Herfa Thompson is an artist, currently based in Leeds.

Born in London but growing up between Zambia and Zimbabwe, she likes to explore human relationships particularly black female bodies and exploring these relationships in a particular space which tends to be in nature, in the sky or by water.

She studied one year of architecture then moved to sculpture and environmental art at The Glasgow School of Art (graduated in 2017)
